What does SCR do?

We specialize in tracking down unclaimed funds from either foreclosure or tax sale auctions and returning it to its rightful owner.

Can I handle the claim process myself?

Yes. You are able to handle the claim process yourself. But, by leveraging our services, we handle the research of government records, filing of paperwork, and attorney fees with no upfront costs to help eliminate the hassle.

Is this a scam?

No. We do not charge you any money upfront for our services. We will never ask you for any payment information. We work on a contingency basis and are only paid if and when we successfully recover the funds for you.

Are there any upfront costs?

No. We work on a contingency basis and are only paid if and when we successfully recover the funds for you. If we're unable to recover anything, then we don’t charge for the work put into sorting through and processing claims, attorney fees, legal opinion letters, etc.

How soon will I receive my money?

It depends. If there is surplus cash available, it typically takes between 60-120 days to process a claim. We work as quickly as possible and will notify you if it’s available sooner.

Why do I need SCR to file the claim?

Oftentimes, it’s difficult to locate your funds just through a simple search on the internet. We help locate your funds, research items needed, and process your claims.

Why is the money available?

Properties are sold either at foreclosure or tax sale auctions. Many times, the amount owed to a lien holder or creditors gets overpaid to the government and the proceeds reside with the county.

Do we charge a fee?

Yes. We collect a percentage of the proceeds at the end of the claim. We do not charge you upfront for our services.
